What is the college sister state for Indiana

What is the college sister state for Indiana?
Apparently every state has a sister state, so that if you go to that sister state for college, you dont have to pay out of state tuition. Anybody have any idea what Indiana's is?

First of all, each state does not necessarily have to have "sister states" where each state's residents get in-state tuition at the other state's school. Reciprocal agreements are done on a purely voluntary basis. When this sort of thing is done, it will most likely be done with a bordering state. So, I'd check Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. Good luck.

What is the best college in Indiana (or bordering states) to study nursing

What is the best college in Indiana (or bordering states) to study nursing?
I'm going to college for nursing and know of a couple that have good nursing programs, but I need some advice on which colleges have really good nursing programs. Thank you!!!!

Believe me, we have nothing to gain by shedding the light on the nursing field. I am also a nurse and just finished nursing school. The abuse, harassment, bullying, backstabbing, stress, suffering, pain, and lateral workplace violent is higher in this field than almost any other. I was made to be a nurse. My passion lies there. My parents have videos of me, as a child, telling them how I would be a nurse. So, I did it. Now I look at it as something to fall back on in DIRE (extremely dire) situations. School is extremely expensive. You may even notice that most colleges have a set tuition and the nursing program has their own tuition. You better believe it's much higher, too. With everyone falling for the lies and false hope of entering a profession that is "recession-proof" (lol- so untrue) these places can nickel and dime you down to the bone. I have friends with $20,000-$70,000 in nursing school tuition debt and only a few of them have even been able to find work. I won't make this too long. I encourage you to explore your options. Nursing isn't as grand as it seems and I wouldn't persuade my worst enemy to go into the field. If you are dead set on it, become a CNA first. This DEFINITELY gives you a LITTLE bit of knowledge on what the field is like..and I mean a LITTLE. CNAs don't have anywhere near the same amount of stresses that nurses are forced to carry. Don't take my words for it. Google this stuff yourself: "I hate nursing" -- "No nursing jobs" "No nursing shortage" "Nursing stress" --"Nursing abuse in the workplace". Yeah, you'll pretty much be amazed with the hundreds of thousands of useful entries that pop up...all RIGHT from the nurses mouth. There ARE a FEW lucky nurses who landed the DREAM job and enjoy what they are doing. But please don't be fooled into thinking it's that easy..especially not in this economy. Everyone, more now than ever, wants that cushy/comfy nursing position about ten times worse than they did before. Work days, in nursing, are LONG and stressful. Management will bully you into caring for more patients than you are comfortable with and you will deal with extremely aggravated patients...after all..they need help/care and they can barely receive it because management has you taking care of twice as many people as you legally should be. Don't you dare say anything, either, or you WILL be blacklisted...there goes ALL your hard work and your nursing license. Sorry to babble on. Case in point. Pick a more respectable field. Go with your heart sweetie! :-)

can I get unemployment while in college fulltime in Indiana

can I get unemployment while in college fulltime in Indiana?
I am currently a student full time in college, I recently got laid off. Can I receive unemployment even though I'm in school in Indiana I am looking for employment full time and only go to school once a week at night so it does not interfere much (unless a job wants me to work tuesday night and no other night)

no

you probably can but I believe one of the questions on your weekly report is are you available to work? and if you are, then more than likely you get it, if school interferes, 'nother problem
3 :
Yes, unemployment is based on working in the past and not on what you are doing now. You night have make a certain number of attempts to find employment. If they found you a job (highly unlikely), then you would have to accept it or lose your unemployment benefits.
4 :
Only if you are looking for work.
5 :
In order to collect unemployment (UE) benefits, you must be available to work full time AND be seeking full-time employment. I hope this helps. Gary
6 :
Nope. Unemployment is for people who are looking for jobs, not for people who out of a job, but are in college toward a degree or not. And you definitely won't be eligible for an extension if you're in school. It's sort of stupid that some people try to hid their fraud by actually trying to apply for financial aid. Kind of putting you're out there, don't you think? The unemployment will find out that way. Also the school can even contact the unemployment office.

I am thinking of being a walk-on at Hanover College in indiana, is there an age restriction?
I was thinking of being a walk-on at Hanover College in Indiana and I was curious if there is an age restriction on playing college football there? Their conference is the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. I am 20 and will be 21 in november

No NAIA or NCAA school has age restrictions (age discrimination is illegal in anything besides minor sports). Many teams have players well into their 30's playing. The one thing to keep in mind is that once you walk on you have a 5 year count down timer on being allowed to play after that in which you can only play 4 years.
