Answer 1 :
your course should transfer if you attend an accredited 2yr program. Go to indiana nurses association website and find a program. but some advice the way nurising jobs are right not, i would get my BSN.if money and time are not an issue. check out allnurses.com - and see what other nursing students in your are are saying.
Answer 2 :
Honey, if you can't even spell the name of the degree you're aspiring to earn, there is no way you're going to get into the very competitive ASN program. There are only a few Associate Degree nursing programs in Indiana (most are BSN), and you need a 4.0 to get into clinicals. Please take the time to learn basic academic skills and raise your GPA to at least a 3.75 before wasting your time to apply. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but as an RN in Indiana, I work with many student nurses already in clinicals and many patient care techs hoping to get into clinicals, so I have working knowledge of how the academic climate currently is. You are also competing for ASN clinical spots against those with Bachelors in other fields, that because of the recession, have made a career change to nursing. Again, get that GPA to a 4.0!!

Does anyone know where or how I can get a scholarship for college in Indiana?
I live in West Lafayette, IN and would like to attend Purdue, but i need scholarships and grants because my parents have no money to help me. I'm all on my own. I am part Indian from my mother and father and was hoping to get a scholarship for that, but I cannot seem to find any. Please help.

Answer 1 :
Have you called the financial aid department at Purdue? I'm sure they would be able to help. There are lots of scholarship searches online, too. You can enter that you are part Indian, and it will show all those that apply.
Answer 2 :
www.fastweb.com it has the largest database for scholarships and you can enter all kinds of details about yourself (like that you are indian) and it will pull up all the scholarships you are eligible for
Answer 3 :
Department of Education is the best place to learn any information on interest rates, school accrediation, and other educational questions. Also to report any colleges or universities.... http://www.ed.gov/index.jhtml http://www.iefa.org (International Students web site) http://www.fastweb.com http://www.usafunds.org http://www.collegeboard.com http://www.scholarships.com http://www.gocollege.com Good Luck!!

Is Indiana University a good college for Architecture

Is Indiana University a good college for Architecture?
Right now I am a high school student looking for a good college. A career I really hope to be some day is an Architectural engineer. I was wondering if Indiana University in Bloomington would be a good college to continue my learning in. If you have other ideas of a good college for my career, feel free to let me know.

Answer 1 :
Cornell University is the #1 school in the world for Architecture! But it is extremely hard to get in to. They accept either 52 or 52 students a year in to the program.
Answer 2 :
Indiana University-Bloomington offers neither engineering nor architecture. If you want to stay in Indiana for engineering, go to Purdue (public) or Rose-Hulman (private). If you want to stay in Indiana for architecture, go to Ball State (public) or Notre Dame (private and hard to get into). Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago may be a good choice for architectural engineering.

college recommendations for Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania

college recommendations for Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania?
I am looking at applying to colleges in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania. If any of you have been to a college in any of these states and recommend that college, please tell me why. I haven't visited many colleges in this area and I just need to know which ones you think I should consider.

You might start with the free college finder at http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com.
Answer 2 :
It totally depends on your grades. I looked at tons of schools, both competitive and not so competitive. I really loved the following: Swarthmore Haverford Gettysburg Franklin & Marshall (probably my second favorite) Kenyon (my favorite) And really disliked the following: IU Bloomington (but I wanted a smaller school) College of Wooster Muhlenberg And the following were so-so, but you might like them: Dickinson Denison But keep in mind that everyone is different and has different things they want in a college. I wanted somewhere smallish and suburban or rural.
