Answer 1 :
Sports medicine involves going to med school after college, so you'd need to study biology or chemistry or possibly physiology as an undergrad. Of the schools you're looking at, IU offers the largest selection of sports-related degrees in case you choose to change your major to sports management or some other sports field.

Should I go straight to Michigan State OR go to community college than transfer to Indiana Bloomington

Should I go straight to Michigan State OR go to community college than transfer to Indiana Bloomington?
I got accepted into Michigan State. My mom wants me to go either there or Northern Illinois (which is in-state). However, I have a gut feeling that I won't like or fit in with Michigan State. However, I Really want to go to Indiana University- bloomington. Will I get screwed financially if I decided to transfer to Indiana (loans, scholarships)? Should I just go to michigan state or go the other route

Answer 1 :
Indiana University.
Answer 2 :
Purdue ranks 61st and Indiana University ranks 71st in the US News national listings. Purdue is much better for engineering and IU is much better for music. I do not know about the other programs. For many it will be a toss-up.

Why was the Indiana-Kentucky college basketball game moved to neutral sites to begin with

Why was the Indiana-Kentucky college basketball game moved to neutral sites to begin with?

Answer 1 :
Typically, when teams play at a neutral site it's because of trying to create a level playing field with no home court (field) advantage. I guess because the IU/Kentucky rivalry is so fiercely competitive someone felt neither of the teams deserved any type of advantage. As an Indiana grad and fan, I can only hope Coach Sampson can bring some glory back to the Hoosiers.
Answer 2 :
2 get more dollars cause all da fans r gonna come plus locals - go wildcats

How to become an Indiana resident while attending college

How to become an Indiana resident while attending college?
I am a Michigan resident and I just completed my first year at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Is there any way that I can become an Indiana resident while still attending BSU?

Answer 1 :
Make an address change on your driver license, social security card, school etc. You could put in a change of address form with the post office.
Answer 2 :
Here are two sites you can look up: Indiana Secretary of State website: http://www.in.gov/sos/photoid/checklist.html From Indiana Univ. website: "Students who are 21 years of age or emancipated are eligible for resident student status after they have been physically present in Indiana for 12 consecutive months (prior to the first day of classes) without the predominant purpose of education." http://www.indiana.edu/~bulletin/iub/law/2002-2004/financial.html#res Apparently residency for university purposes may be stricter than for residential purposes. Check with Ball State re: their residency requirements.
