Go to Indiana University-Purdue University my first year in college Butler my second

Go to Indiana University-Purdue University my first year in college Butler my second?
Okay, so I was thinking that I could go to IUPUI my first year in college because it is a ton cheaper than Butler. To attend Butler it is 50 thousand a year and I really want to go their. I was thinking my sophomore year transfer to butler is that a good idea? Will I still be able to be involved is sororities and stuff like that? Will I be rooming with a freshman? THANKS!

Answer 1 :
Butler offers a ton of financial aid. I would suggest starting at Butler to make sure you get the core classes done. If you did transfer you'd most likely live with a sophomore in Resco. Don't go to IUPUI.
Answer 2 :
If you decide on this approach, be sure that the courses you take at IUPUI will transfer to Butler. And before you choose a school based on cost, you should apply to all schools of interest and apply for financial aid. It is the net cost after aid that is important.

Answer 3 :
BALL ST. is in Indiana? Wow I learn something everyday. I say IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis). Its a real university.
Answer 4 :
If your looking for division I, then I would say Indiana University.
Answer 5 :
Indiana State. The Sycamores aren't a very prestigious Division I-AA school, and if they even had a handful of one and two star recruits that had a lot of potential, they could suddenly become a powerhouse. Bear in mind that Jordan Norwood and Deon Butler from Penn State were one-star recruits but played like five star recruits, and Graham Zug was a two-star recruit who plays like a four-star.
